It is a joy and privilege to be able to teach piano! I began playing the piano when I was seven years old. Since then, I've had numerous opportunities to perform for churches, school choir groups, and weddings.
In 2004, I received a BA in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from North Greenville College. I later was certified by Musikgarten to teach Family Music (birth-3 years) and Cycle of Seasons (ages 3-5 years). I began teaching piano lessons in 2009. In addition to my home lessons, I have also taught preschool music classes at Anderson Prep Preschool and St. John's UMC Child Development Center as well as piano lessons to APP's preschool and elementary after-school children.
My students have ranged from three to twenty years old, beginner to intermediate levels. Teaching piano is my passion, and I desire to cultivate a love and excitement for playing the piano in my students. My goal is to provide fun, yet challenging lessons in order to benefit each student according to his/her age, learning style, musical goals and interests.
